I guess it's a little cooler here, but mine often flowers during the day.
I like the shape of the dark glossy leaves and the flowers sure stands out, as it sits on them.

SP550UZ or E300 - all pretty dated toys la...

for some of the critters closeup, I use sigma 150mm F2.8.
