La Mer

....US market dipped 200 points ? Europe and Hang Seng bleeding red ink too .....that's bad Bill.... yep me too, I don't think employment data will shine tonight.... you poor man, luckily you just trimmed your portfolio last week....you didn't ? Yes I heard...the second biggest investment fund here is busted .... your money's in it ? .... what a depressing week you have, I am so sorry...... Who me ?

Well don't think you want to know....
ok if you insist....

....a bloody long flight and a thousand miles on the tarmac, I was on this shaky boat at the so called Bay of Fundy, keeping a watchful eye on the feathered bombers - these birds think the whole sky is their toilet.... but what blue sky, and sea too I have never seen it so blue....those cliffs are so high its like the Nasdaq during the dot com boom (snigger snigger).... and have you ever smelled the breath from the whales ? They smelled like .... like smelly armpits.... haha...actually its from the blow holes at the top....no gills Bill they are mammals like us, .... those fat seals lazing on the rocks, they remind me of you flat out at the bar counter after a really bad trading day, .... come to think of it, today will certainly count as one hahahahahaha ..........

hello Bill ..... you still there ? .....

Bring back fond memories. I was there in 2005 too, Grand Manan I mean, but in the fall, very misty and cold, but more desolate and at its most primieval.

It is wonderful to see nature without malls and all the man made trimmings.
It is good that there are still some places that belong to the animals. How long, My guess is not so good.
thank you for your visit. I really do dislike malls and man made holiday resorts, golf courses etc. ah cruises come in this category as well.
I have always liked to grow "things"
even when I was small. My eldest grandson is the same, he is 21 this year and in his fourth year at uni; studies medicine. At his lodgings he has made a beautiful small vegetable garden; I am glad about this keeps him in touch with nature. It is a shame that your soil is polluted and you can't grow some food. Perhaps you could get somewhere else a plot to plant your lettuce!! I hope all is well.T
